Two Clients, Two Very Different Marketing Projects, Both Completed and Delivered
I have been very busy working on two major marketing projects using very different marketing techniques. I was able to use both my marketing and public relations experience to complete these projects requiring creative development, with some HTML coding, and press release writing.
Ellee Duke, Singer/Songwriter
Prior to the agreed upon deadlines, I was able to deliver both projects to my clients with satisfying results. The first project was for singer/songwriter Ellee Duke developing her website and electronic press kit. The most challenging portion of this project was the HTML coding that was required on each page. Thankfully, I have a technical background and was able to complete this project for the amazing and talented Ellee Duke before she left for Nashville.
Working closely with her manager, Marci Duke, we agreed on a font style and Ellee’s brand requiring all lowercase letters for her name. Although some minor tweaking still needs to be completed, and a few pages to be added after she returns from her trip, I believe that she (and her brand) is represented cohesively and professionally. Good luck Ellee in Nashville!
Jefferson Montoya, Singer/Songwriter, Co-Owner of Love Songs
My second project was writing a press release for my client, Jefferson Montoya, in Las Vegas, NV. Jefferson, an award-winning singer/songwriter, partnered with Steve Thomas to launch Loves Songs, an ongoing dating event for singles that incorporates live music.
Jefferson, along with Jeff Welch (bass) and Tracey Hope (drums), will provide guests on March 30th with a wide range of musical hints to help solve three levels of puzzles. The guests will have the opportunity to win prizes while making quality connections.
Although I do not specialize in the singer/songwriter industry, I got the opportunity to work with both of these talented individuals and enjoyed working with both of them on their marketing and public relations needs. Developing a website and electronic press kit is very different from writing a press release; however, both were equally important and exciting to complete.
