Submit Your URL to Search Engines and Increase Online Visibility
Many individuals, who are not SEO experts, are not aware that he or she must submit website URLs to search engines. Having a website is not enough to be search-able; even if you are keyword conscious. Once you have created your website or blog, you must go to Google, Bing, and Yahoo to submit your links to increase its online visibility.
Although you do need to create accounts, it is FREE to submit your URLs.
To submit your website URL to Google, go to: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/.
Click on “Add Site”.
Type in your URL and follow the instructions. Make sure you are the website owner before attempting this because you will need to add Meta Tags or alternative methods to verify your account before it will work.
Click on “Verify”.
Each website is set up differently, so you may need to use the alternative methods. These options are provided by each search engine.
